Byron is an awesome place, everybody should visit atleast once.  Theres never a shortage of partying, im sure my liver is crying for a much needed break.  Yesterday i read in a hammock for most of the morning, then had a surf lesson at Byron Bay surf school (whicked place to take lessons) then went back to Marko (our surf instructor) house for a ozzie bbq and drinking games with everyone from our class.  i like how they put beet root in everything, its really good in burgers with ketchup!  they call getting lucky "rooting", so goes the ozzie saying "you can beat and egg, but you cant beet a root!"

After everyone went back to the hostel to drink and play music, it was bumpin as usual.  usually id go downtown after to one of the million clubs or pubs, but we dragged a table down to the beach and made a bon fire.  tex and cogan go here the nite before, so there was some heavy consumption.  everyone was feeling pretty rough this morning, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Tomorrow were gonna drive to a river that flows into the ocean, and its supposedly full of tea tree oil thats really relaxing and good for your skin and stuff.  right now tex, cogan and i are going to catch some afternoon surf then bbq some kangaroo at the hostel before we get too hammered (again)  im glad to be here instead of the cold and snow back home haha
