last nite got kinda messy after a "quick drink" at scubar with a girl we met from saskatchewan.  there was live music and a pool tournament, so we ended up tearing up our tickets for the sydney opera house show and got hammered until waaaaay to late.  we only got a couple hours of sleep cause we had to get up and catch a 5am train to the airport to fly to adelaide.

at the airport we found out flight centre screwed up our tickets, so we had to pay an extra $136 to switch our flight to today.  we werent very happy about it, but the staff at jetstar was whicked nice and help us out alot.  guess being nice and friendly works out sometimes.

adelaide is okay, its alot more chill than sydney which is a nice change of pace.  plus its quite a bit cheaper to eat and stay and everything else.  its a bit farther away from any kind of surf than we though, but its looking good to rent a car for a couple days so we can hopefully drive to some sweet secluded places.  hope the sharks aren't to bad along the coast here....

just chilling until the 'budget lovers dinner' tonite at 7:30 at the hostel, then gonna go to backpackers nite at marble bar and hopefully catch a live show after.  ill let you know how it goes
