Today was another windy day at the sea; lifeguards trying to get the kids out of the water and the kids determinded to go in. We spent the morning burying the kids, pulling them out of the huge waves and having sun cream rubbed in to our bodies with sandy little hands. After a while we asked Shaun to stop with the sun cream and let the kids have a go...

Tonight our bible teaching was about the story of the paralysed man. We focused on the courage of the friends, the strength of friendship shown and of course the healing power of Jesus. the kids really engaged with this story and we saw a transformation as we focused on what it was to be friends with each other.

Mimi and Rich spent the day on the road visiting Gabrovo and seeing the progress at the new House of Opportunity there. The house id situated on the edge of the city in a beautiful spot looking out onto the hills. Pastor Rumen and the team from his church in Gabrovo have done a great job on the house; so far walls have been replastered, windows replaced and new walls put in to give greater flexibility. The house itself has been given for our use on a ten year rent free basis by the local authority who are very supportive of our work. Staff for the new house are ready and we have three young people from a local orphanage waiting to join our House of Opportunity Programme in September (HOP). This will be the second house in the HOP and we are very excited to see it take shape.
