Wisconsin - Tom Sitting at Campsite

We arrived at Lake Kenoga campground around 5 pm CT and after a little looking around  decided upon a suitable campsite.  It took us longer to figure out how to pay for our campsite than to set it up, as there were no rangers on duty.  We were both a little tired from our drive, Tom especially, and after a quick pasta dinner, we went to bed around 9 pm CT.  However, it started to rain rather heavily throughout the night and trailed off into intermittent showers by morning.  The tent kept out most of the water but both our sleeping bags and mats have wet corners.

We woke up around 8 am CT and went to shower.  The campground had very clean facilities but the showers required you to push a button every 10-12 seconds or so to keep water coming which made it hard for both of us to rinse our hair.  After checking in with the park rangers this morning, we set off to search for an apartment for Tom.  The day wasn't very eventful but it was very exhausting, just filled with many similar style meetings and tours.  We have several more tours arranged for tomorrow afternoon along with a few more apartment complexes to look at.  Besides looking at apartments, we picked up a few goods at the largest SuperTarget we have ever seen.  We're currently at the Verona Public Library and are preparing for more heavy storms tonight.  The rangers even mentioned that it may be so bad tonight that we might want to leave the site if the wind becomes too strong as some of the branches are likely to come down throughout the night if high winds persist.

We neglected to bring in our camera, so we will be adding pictures to this entry later.  Our apologies.
