Woke up early and drove to see I's father, A. Then onto Snowdonia National Park. The most gorgeous scenery, simply awe inspiring. Kind of like Scotland in the sense it was very mountainous.
We then stopped at Port Meirion, a village built off the peninsula of Snowdonia. It is a village that was built in 1927 to demonstrate that you can build a whole village in harmony with the surroundings, and still keep all the beauty of the natural environment. Port Meirion was also the location for The Prisoner :)
For afternoon tea we stopped off in a small town, Betws-y-Coed and had Devonshire tea...so quaint and delightful! Dinner at the White Eagle.
