www.springsladelodge.co.uk) for giving me a tasty bacon and egg sandwich (and chocolate and biscuits!) free of charge, I've donated £5 on her behalf. The day did not end there! In the evening I managed to find a field (that had no horses or cows in!) to rest for the night. Mary, who was out looking for mushrooms with her family and granddaughter and 3 golden labradors, asked if there was anything I needed. I cheekily said yes, a bit of milk. Unfortunately, due to an injured knee, she was not able to join me on the walks (she did try on Thursday, but too many stiles!), but thankyou for providing food and transporting me to and from the areas I was walking. Thankyou to the owners of Cannock Chase Camping and Caravan Club for letting me stay there (with Sophie) free of charge, I have donated £15 on their behalf. Also thankyou to Kaye of Springslade Lodge Tearoom (
