A few miles done of the Pennine Way. As the weather hasn't improved, the terrain is still wet and boggy, so my feetget wet quite often. Today I have just finished a part of Hadrian's Wall that was included in the PennineWay. Unfortunately because of the weather the views have been limited. At the end of Hadrian's Wall I had a look at the remains of Thirwell Castle. The weather has caused other problems for us too, finding a place to pitch our tents is one thing, getting them up and down in the dry is another! I hope the weather improves for us all, Padie is returning to Wiltshire for a music festival and I shall be backpacking again! we can but hope!
