Walking a lot of wooded area at the moment in the Cairngorms. We have seen some red squirrels while driving along, that made our day yesterday.  Passed through the nice little village of Boat of Garten yesterday.  Walked from there today through the woods to Loch Morlich, east of Coylumbridge.  It is here that you will find Britain's only free ranging reindeer herd, not that we have seen any yet.  What I did see today was three more red squirrels.  I have some great pictures.  We are now camped by Glen Feshie in a wooded area.  Water and woods a good combination for mosquitoes so we are roasting by a camp fire to keep them away!!!
