Found a nice place to stay and proceeded to find a nice lunch. this city is very pretty, full of very ooooold buildings and all the walks are covered wilth porticoes, so it doesn't matter that it is raining. there are tons of students everywhere, so there is a nice energy, and it is not touristy AT ALL. Beautiful food stores, nice trattorias...and best of all, my favorite artist, Georgio Morandi is from here, so there is a really nice museum for him. They had all the stuff from his studio in a room, I almost cried when I walked in there. Maybe I should just go home and paint.
There are also some very tall towers here, one is leaning, really leaning. I am not sure why italy has so many towers...they built them on corsica for communication, was it the same here?
Anyway, I had a nice time just strolling around this place, popping into shops and churches whenever I felt like it, even took a nap one afternoon! (maybe I still haven't caught up from that night in the train station..)
