Hi everyone, this is going to be a short one as i have only got a few minutes left on here.
Right now am in L.A, strange place i must admit.
Not maybe as i would imagine it, kind of thought it may have been similar to New York. However it is very different.
Getting used to the hostel way of life. This one is ok (Hollywood international) but very basic, however it more than makes up for it in location. It is opposite the Kodak Cinema on the Hollywood walk of fame. The hostel in fact overlooks the red carpet etc, which is pretty special if you like that sort of thing.
Flight was very very long although I'm glad we have gotten it over first, don't have a similar one now for over 5 months. By then though our adventure will be over so i should be able to sleep very well (especially after spending last few weeks in Thailand).
Since being here we have ventured out on a sight seeing trip around Beverly hills and up in the Hollywood hills themselves. quite interesting and reminded me of home a little due to how insestrial all the stars are!! Very strange how they all have lived with, next and over the road from one another. oh and forgot to say got to see the toilet where George Micheal was arrested!!! Was the highlight!!
Off to universal studios tomorrow which should be fun.
Weather is pretty good over here, not quite shorts and t shirt weather however a short sleeved shirt and trousers in more than enough. Cant wait till i get to Hawaii and get bit of a tan. Hopefully this will be where my next correspondence will be from, with pictures (if the damn machine will let me)

Universal studios!!

What a load of rubbish. Really out dated and a massive anti climax, if you are here i wouldn't bother with it, you can only really manage a few hours as there is nothing to do really (apart from cue!!).

Any way final thoughts on LA before i head off to sunnier climes (hopefully). I would describe it as interesting, not somewhere i would come again out of choice but on the other hand i am glad i have been and seen it all. As a famous lyricist once wrote "plastic California, looks like Blackpool out of date, Some love some hate", You need to have come to decide.

Anyway thanks again to everyone who wished me well, bought me lunch, rang me etc before i left. it meant soo much too me and Kate.
Thinking of you all,
love etc.
