Last night we went snorkeling with the fish at our resort. There are so many colorful fish, giant blue and rainbow colored angelfish, parrot fish and many others. They are not afraid of people and if you throw food in the water they will jump up out of the ocean to eat it. We have taken several pictures but we cannot download them on the computer from here. You would just love it here Amanda, I think of you every time I swim!!

Today we purchased a bus pass, we think this is the best way to travel in Bermuda since visitors are not allowed to rent cars. You can take the bus, ferry or rent a scooter but with the roads in Bermuda, if your timid, stick with the bus. We picked up the bus just outside of our resort and traveled east to St.George, the bus dropped us off at the ferry. But before we boarded the ferry we needed breakfast, something quick. We found a little basic cafe in the 'Kings Court' area ....more information about convicts in Bermuda

. We picked up a cheddar biscuit, toasted bagel with egg and cheese and juice for about $10.00, very cheap.

We went back to the ferry and sat down inside to eat at the table. The ferry is very large, you can sit inside or outside, it has a snack bar (donuts, cookies, chips)and washrooms. We took the ferry boat to the western part of the island called the Dockyard, it took about 45 minutes.

We walked through the Bermuda Maritime museum this morning. Dolphin Quest is also available here, where people could swim with the dolphins for about $300.00 per person. The museum is worth the $10.00 each, very interesting, we learned allot about prisoners and slaves who were taken to Bermuda many years ago. Part of their punishment was to build the forts in Bermuda. There is a small cove behind the Fort where you can go snorkeling, allot of the cruise ship passengers use this area to swim in since it's so close.

After the museum we dropped by the rum cake factory where we sampled 5 or 6 different kinds of rum cake. We picked up a small original rum cake for about $12.00. I must admit, I never thought I would buy a cake to bring back home, but it was just that good, yum... Down the barrel

.

We picked up the ferry at the Dockyard and left again for St.George. We arrived around 2:00 pm and began looking for lunch. Our guidebook, frommers, suggested the White Horse, it looked busy from the outside so we decided to venture in. Ask for an outside seat beside the water. You can toss pieces of bread into the water and watch some pretty big fish jump out for it, it's a fish frenzy. We ordered the White Horse club wrap with fries, it had real fresh chicken slices, no deli meats in this sandwich. It was $13.95 and with a ice tea (it's not sweetened) about $3.00 more. You quickly find out that food is not cheap in Bermuda, this particular restaurant offers reasonably priced, good food.

Love you and miss you guys.
