Training Camp Coming to an End

Hey Everyone,
Well, this week has been very exciting for us as we have been busy preparing to leave on Friday. Tonight, us creative teachers went through evaluations, and did a 10 minute individual object lesson. Now that the evaluations are all done, we are just busy packing, and writing programs.
We had an awesome commissioning service on Sunday, and we packed the church out. Thanks so much to everyone who came out and supported me and my team. We had a good program, and it was awesome to see the support behind our team. We also got billeted out to peoples houses for the weekend, and this was an awesome an refreshing experience. It is so much fun to just show up for supper at the house of someone that you have never met before. We got to know these people very well, and also enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with many of the people from the church we are attending. We also enjoyed a hockey game in Didsbury, and a worship service @ Camp Harmatten, near Olds. All in All, it was an amazing weekend, and we really saw God throughtout those few days.
We are leaving for Manila from the Calgary International Airport on Friday @ 10:00pm. We will be getting there at 7:00pm, and all are invited to come out. We will be first flying to Vancouver on AC-229 to spend 5 hours in the airport, and then on to Hong Kong, and then on to Manila. OUr base is located 1.5 hours NE of Manila in Quezon City (San Fernando). We will also get to go to Baguio to minister there, and we will be traveling all over the island on our days off. Typically we will be doing 2 or 3 programs a day, and these will be for all ages.
