Well, it feels like I say this all of the time in my updates but this week again is extremely busy and packed full of work here. Our worship leading on Sunday went very well, and we are now preparing for our youth program this Friday @ Bethel Evangelical Missionary Church.
Mmm Pasta
This past weekend, we had the opportunity to be billeted out to peoples homes from our host church. David and I got billeted together with and older couple, and had a blast spending time with them and enjoying their hospitality.
We are a sweet team
On Monday, we had a team day off, and headed to Banff for that. This was a really fun time of hiking, soaking in the hot springs, and eating delicious food. We hiked to the upper falls @ Johnston's Canyon which was really beautiful and gave us the opportunity to be crazy with each other and grow closer as a team.
2 dead team members
Last night, us preachers on team had to preach our 10 minute sermon and be evaluated. I was quite worried yesterday morning because I had no idea about what I was going to say. After much prayer and thought, I finished writing the sermon. I ended up getting a 9.5 outta 10 on it, so I am very excited about that. My new challenge is to extend that to a 20 minute sermon for next Tuesday.Well, that is what is happening in my life right now.
