Aloha Everyone,

Well, I have quite enjoyed these past 2 days in Hawaii, as they have been a bit more laid back and relaxing.  Yesterday was a free day, so my bro and I went and did some shopping, and took the Waikiki Trolley around Honolulu which was pretty sweet.  And that was about if for yesterday.

Today, we went on a tour of Pearl Harbour and Honolulu.  This began at 7:00am.  We first headed out to Pearl Harbour and reserved a spot on the boat out to the USS Arizona Memorial, and then headed over to the USS Bowfinn (A WW2 Submarine).  We were actually allowed inside the sub which was very cool, and I would defiinitely recommend it to anyone who visits Pearl Harbour.  After checking out the sub, we headed back to the dock and watched a documentary about December 7th, 1941, when Pearl Harbour was attacked.  After this very eye opening documentary, we headed out on boat to the USS Arizona Memorial, which is floated above the sunken USS Arizona which you can see beneath the memorial.  Amazingly, you can still see oil slowly leaking from the ships hull.  @ the memorial you can see the names of all of those who went down with the ship (which totals over 900 men).  It was actually really crazy to visit Pearl Harbour and imagine what happened the day it was attackted.

Tomorrow, we are flying to Hilo (on the Big Island) @ like 5:30am to see what it is like there, and then will be flying back to Honolulu tomorrow night.  Well, that is all for now.  Mahalo and God Bless!!!
