Haha, well we made it down here to Hawaii about 3 days ago now, and we are having a blast. These first 3 days have been filled with lots of fun and relaxation. We started off our first day with a wonderful buffet breakfast @ one of the hotels on Waikiki.
Yesterday (Day 2) we started using our Go Oahu Cards ($179) which gets you into tons of stuff for free and provides huge savings. We started off our day with a audio tour of Iolani Palace (the only palace on American soil), which was really interesting. After a picnic lunch on the palace grounds, and chasing the birds, we headed to the Polynesian cultural centre for the afternoon and evening. We went to an IMAX movie there, as well as went on a canoe ride, enjoyed cultural demonstrations, got tattoos (temporary of course), and watched the awesome night show Horizons. The Polynesian Cultural Centre is really awesome, and has so much stuff to see and do. I would definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Oahu, especially with a family.
Today, I stood for 6 hours straight in the pouring rain as well as the blazing sun @ the set of Extreme Makeover Home Edition. The day was so awesome, and we got to see the family come home and see their new house!!! So Cool. We also saw many of the celebrities from the show such as Ty Pennington and the designers. Well, that is about it so far. Not sure what the plans are for tomorrow, but I will keep you all updated. Thanks for stopping by and God Bless!!!
