New Years, and Headed Back Home!!!

Hey There Everyone,
Well, our New Years celebrations were absolutely amazing, and we had a blast. On New Years Eve, we all headed down to the Thames right in front of the London Eye, and near Big Ben for the fireworks that welcomed London into the New Year. We arrived about 2 hours in advance as they had 350,000 people attending the show, and we wanted to get a good spot. The fireworks were absolutely amazing, and cost them 1.3 Million Pounds for a 10 minute show. After the fireworks we walked through quite a bit of Central London through Picadilly Circus and then on to the Victoria Coach Station for a very late night tube ride back to the hostel.
On New Years Day, a few of us headed down to see the London New Years Day Parade. Kendall and Kerri-Ann also left from London that day for New Zealand. That night, we had a late night adventure through London heading down to the London Eye and Big Ben by Double-Decker Buses to get some night pictures. We also had fish and chips and got lost on the way back to the hostel. On the 2nd of January we headed back to Calgary on British Airways, and even got bumped up to Premium Economy which was really sweet.
