I had a nice sleep actually...I slept until 2 in the afternoon. I played a little volleyball, read, and then went for a seafood dinner on a floating restaurant and had crab. It was very fresh and tasty, but not worth the effort it took to get the damn meat! Lindsay and I watched Shrek 2 and then I just stayed in and rested since tomorrow is the FMP.
The next day, LG and I decided to take off on an island tour to see a few different areas on KP. The first stop was snorkeling on the north side of the island , but the water was way too choppy and not so good fro snorkeling. Then we went to a small fishing village for lunch on a beach near the fisherman's village. The beach area was filled with colorful boats with large masts that have ropes cascading down to all points on the boat resembling a massive spider web. After lunch, we traveled by boat to Bottle Beach, KP's best beach, and then hiked inland to a decent waterfall in KP National Park. On the way we were hit with a light rain shower as we explored the forest and falls. Later we hiked back to the beach for some relaxing and swimming and then had some watermelon in the boat before returning to Hat Rin Nok. Other than the snorkeling, overall it was a good tour, but it was particularly nice to spend some time with just one person in a crowd-free, relaxing environment. I like LG and we had a few nice chats, so it was a good morning/afternoon.
That night brought the actual Full Moon party and the beach was packed. Actually, I preferred the pre-FMP because it was just as fun and just as much to do, but with half the people. I can't really describe how crowded it was other than to say that if you lost someone for a minute you probably weren't going to find them again. Everything took forever, traveling to another bar, using the restroom, getting a drink, etc. It was good, but the previous few nights were better
