We stopped for the night in Hat Yai and then mostly just ran errands until our minibus left for Surat Thani and our overnight ferry to Ko Samui. After overpaying for alcohol on the Perhentians, where its basically illegal to sell, we decide to pack in some alcohol with us to the islands, culminating in a shopping cart filled with 30 bottles of rum and whiskey and 25 bottles of Red Bull or Red Bull substitute thinking that we'll save loads of money by selling off what we don't drink! Yes, we are fools!
