Another day on the beach! I woke up and immediately snagged a good beach spot and read, and sunned and swam and snorkeled and had lunch and played Frisbee and beach volleyball and then met up with mostly the same people as last night for a shark beach barbecue. Tonight, three English girls joined us (via Jamo I imagine). The barbecued shark was amazing and those English girls knew endless drinking games...they must've been fresh out of university. We played many drinking games, then danced, and then someone inexplicably turned the conversation to politics and after 10 minutes, suddenly everyone was tired and went to bed! I hate politics!
As I went to bed, I hear someone pounding on their door on two separate occasions, followed by hard core cursing and then a loud BANG...whatever, I go to bed. I hear a story the next day that explains. Juliano and Jamo share a room; Juliano has the key; Jamo has no key; Jamo can't find Juliano. The two occasions of door pounding were Jamo trying top get into his room thinking that Juliano was inside passed out; then Jamo tries to find my place but ends up stepping into a termite mound (cursing) and then just decides to kick the door in (bang). Juliano walks into the room early in the morning completely covered in sand from having passed out and slept on the beach all night!

Tomorrow, I'll go with Juliano and Jamo to Thailand, to Ko Samui and Ko Phangan for the famous full moon party. We take a taxi to the Thai border, then a minibus to Hat Yai and stay the evening before catching an overnight ferry to the islands.
