I suppose I could really drag this out by describing in detail each place I visited, but I'll just let the photos do what they do and say that I had a great time.  I woke up and hopped on my scooter heading for Taroko national park.  I lucked out on the weather (no rain)  and cruised up the highway, music of the wicked witch from Wizard of Oz strangely playing in my head (it's a Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber thing), well, that mixed with the greatest hits of George Michael (damn hostel and its stupid repeating CD), which makes for an interesting moped ride - 'I will be your father figure', followed by wicked witch music, followed by ''cause you gotta have faith', followed by more wicked witch music!  Wow, I just re-read that last sentence - I sound PSYCHO! haha

Anyway, I get to the park HQ, grab a map and head off.  Basically, the photos can do a better job of describing the place than I can here - I rode in, saw the main sights, had a one-man picnic (Snickers, dried mangoes and water), took heaps of photos and 4 hours later headed out.  Apparently just north of the park are some really beautiful cliffs that drop off into the sea, but the rain and bad weather blew in preventing me from reaching them, so I just headed back to Hualien to chill and wait for my train back to Taipei.
