After Chris and I decided to go work for the department of education in South Korea, we also decided we needed one more weekend in Austin before we left. So Chris and I and old high school pal Espy headed down for the weekend. We ate some fantastic Magnolia's cafe food and then went downtown to Sixth and Fourth Street. Massive amounts of alcohol were consumed, Espy being wasted within 30 minutes of arrival! It was your basic drink and get rowdy kind of night. Espy left the next morning to get back home for her sons soccer, ummm maybe baseball, game and Chris and I went to Kim's House, our high school friend. Technically I've known Kim longer than I have Chris and pretty much anyone else I still keep in contact with. So it was great to see Kim again and we went and hung out at a coffe house and all caught up. Later that night we all went out (Kims boyfriend included) to a little place on Fifth Street, but east of I35. I guess the city is trying to re-develop this area as there were lots of projects going on over there . We chilled at this quaint little bar and chatted and hung out. Chris decided to stay out with some friends and I went back with Kim and her boyfriend to her place. In the morning, Kim and I got to talk a lot over breakfast and I was happy to spend some alone time with her and hear how well she is doing. A bit later I went and picked up Chris and we traveled back to Dallas in order to get ready to travel to Colorado, so that we could get ready to travel to Korea!
