Week 9 (12.19 - 12.25.02) - So, an old man on the train today totally pushed me and I think maybe even cussed at me! Too funny. Then, after that, he went and did the same thing to a black fella on the train!! He must have some issues...maybe a whitie stole his woman or something! hehe Anyway, I'm sending my computer home with a friend to be repaired (DVD drive). When I bought it, I told the salesperson that I was moving abroad and didn't want any shipping problems and he says no problem, but, after a problem, suddenly HP doesn't pickup or ship internationally. Week 10 (12.26 - 1.1.03) - Done with work for 10 days!! New Years is the biggest holiday of the year here, so practically everyone has an almost two week vacation. A few friends and co-workers and I are meeting up to pull an all-nighter in Shinsaibashi, the big downtown area. It actually wasn't so great...maybe b/c all the younger Japanese go home for new years. Anyway, after new years I picked up a nasty cold/flu and was out of action for several days including new years eve and day!! So, usually when I'm sick it's all movies and TV, but since I moved there's no TV. Also, three's no computer, which means no DVDs, internet, or radio! All I was left with was reading papers and books, which, until you're really sick and have nothing else to do, you'd never realize require quite a bit of effort to read and hold up!
