What can I say, Phuket had soe good beaches and nightlife, but it wasn't really that great. It's pretty dirty and filled with prostitutes and huys who like being with prostitutes. I stayed two day, going on an elephant trek one day, and then decided to head across the bay to Ao Nang, which seems like it'll be much more my style!

I spent two weeks in Southeast Asia and one of my stops was in Phuket, Thailand. I was really looking forward to visiting Phuket, however, when I arrived there, I was outraged! Patong Beach was pretty, but not one of the nicest beaches that I've been to. The place smells like one big rotten sewer system and its incredibly dirty. Everywhere you look, you see an old, grey haired man with a young Thai prostitute. This is not what I expected and couldn't wait to get back to the airport and leave this filthy place!!!
