I stopped in LA in order to hang out with and visit some old college friends. Cortney, my college girlfriend, who I remained friends with, and John Covington, one of Brents college roommates and a guy we partied with often. I didnt do much sightseeing, just went to a few cool bars and restaurants and hung out with them. Cortney took me into the Hollywood hills for some hiking, whcih was nice except for the fact that the view towrds the ocean was obscured by massive pollution...even though LA's a fun place I could never live there because of that fact, the air is simply disgusting. But it was great to visit with John and Cortney and see them before leaving for Japan.
