We arrived at Ishigaki island pretty beat, both from constant hiking and stupid sunburns, and didn't really do much except grab some food and look around some of the souvenir shops. The next day we head off to Taketomi, which is a really small island very close to Ishigaki. On Taketomi, we walked (should've rented bikes) to the other side of the island, passing through a tiny village where we were quite the sight being that very few foreigners ever make it to this tiny island. Basically we just lounged around, in the shade, on the beach for the whole day. The beach was great and gave us a view of Iriomote and lots of snorkeling time!
