Bratislava is in Slovakia, which was part of the old communist country of Czechoslovakia before their freedom from communism and the seperation of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. We only stopped here for one night on the way to Budapest, so I dont really have much to say except that the areas I would normally have the most interest in are a bit far off the route I have chosen, so hopefully one day I can make it back to see them. There really isn't too much to Bratislava, a big downtown castle/fortress/cathedral is about it, so we went and checked it out since it is the largest sight of interest and also gives a nice overview of the city from its hilltop location.

The only other instance of interest came from a cute little episode from Kenny and Will, as they came together from Alabama and have spent everyday traveling over here together and definitely, on occasion, argue like an old married couple. Tomorrow Kenny will leave for Munich in Germany to see a Motorhead concert, one of his main reasons for hopping the pond, and Will will continue on with me to Budapest. As this will be the first time they have split up, I think Will was suffering from some seperation anxiety as the two of them began to quibble over ever little thing (ever noticed how when one person in a real relationship is leaving for a while, they end up fighting? well, same principle here!) Wills seperation anxiety blew into full force belligerance that evening, due to an over indulgence of absynth, and I had to take Will home as Kenny told Will he should leave!! So cute, those two! hahahahaha
