Where I stayed

The three of us took an overnight train from Krakow to turned out that Nicholas was on our train, so we had a good laugh again and he (in good humor) accused us all and swore revenge. Later he started passing out in our train car and when a bump woke he up he freaked out when he recollected what happened and saw us watching him. He bolted to his car and locked it up so tight that later one of his car mates had serious trouble getting in!

Prague is amazingly beautiful and historic, yet we didnt really like it that much. I guess its been built up too much and it also has the feel of a "couples" place. The Czech people, in general, aren't friendly at all, and with a huge foreign population and millions of tourists each year maybe its just had its fill of non-Czech speakers.

Not too much to tell really, we stayed at the Elf Hostel (a drug and theft haven, but filled with interesting people) and hung around and tried to party and saw some magnificient sights like the Old Town Square with the 1365 Tyn Church, the 1730 St. Nicholas Church, the famous 13th century astronomical clock (which was under construction), and the Charles Bridge, which crosses the Vltava River and is graced by 30 or so statues from around the 18th century. Anyway, we just walked about and chatted with a few people and soaked in the culture!
