It was a 3½ hour drive to Stuttgart, so we made sure we left early enough to arrive with enough time to see the Mercedes Benz Museum (because it's shut on Mondays). We spent over three hours in the museum - it was very good & really informative ... but personally, I still prefer my BMW 1956 convertible!

We then spent 90 minutes looking for a campsite that was only 5 minutes form the museum! Yeah, leave off, we're not that stupid! It's just that Jane/Kate was telling us that the campground was smack, bang in the middle of the Stuttgart Oktoberfest celebrations ... and we just couldn't see any tents & campers between the Beer halls, the pretzel stands & the giant roller coaster!

So, after driving back out of town, then back in again to follow street signs instead of the sat nav, we eventually found it. And it was soo close to the Oktoberfest, that we went over for a peep. So we got to look in Beer tents after all!

The next day we packed up & made our way to the Porsche museum. It really was a bit of a let down in comparison to the other two car museums. It was only one room, there were a few cars, but not really much information.

After we left the museum, we walked around the corner to the Porsche dealership. There were some pretty nice cars in there - with some pretty nice price tags too!

So, thus ended our time in Germany. We headed back towards France for the finish up of our time on the European continent.

Well you haven't killed each other yet! Thats Fantastic hehe :)
You have done sooo much! Look forward to reading where you head off to next!
I'm getting married in like 9 weeks almost!!!! crazy!!! Then off to the big US of A-- sucks about the dollar...fingers crossed it gets back to 80c at least! I can't wait though! I'll have to make a blog on here too haha If you head over to America let me know- we are going to an Elvis party in Graceland on his/my bday!!! took me aaagges to get tickets-but got them! Also a scavenger hunt in his mansion haha-the place is going to be full of Elvis lookalikes!
Anyways Missing you HEAPS!!! School is crap without u! You have left a gaint hole in our office :(
