Hola again Chikos & Chikas!!!

Our story continues as we head towards Seville (I believe this was the site of the winter Olympics a few years back?). We picked out a campsite off the sat nav (& it was the one recommended in the Lonley Planet) and followed the directions ... but all we found was a jungle of weeds & an airport! Great start! We were going to blame Jane/Kate, til we saw the old sign on the fence - they had obviously moved since she put her maps together.

So we headed towards the next closest one - 20 minutes the other side of town! - but it turned out to be a very good choice, with free swimming pool (most make you pay for the pool!) and free wifi!

Drove into Seville the next morning & had a good look around - it seemed like a very nice place. Things we saw included:-

* the Cathedral (apparently one of the largest in Europe. Mass was on when we arrived, so we couldn't look all over, but going in & out the four different entrances, we got a pretty good idea what it was like.)
* the archive museum (with maps & documents showing how much the United States of America owed their history & existence to Spain!)
* Plaza d'Espana (the best place we saw in Seville. It was a giant semi circle of buildings all decorated with mosaic tiles depicting Spanish cities. The area was complemented by a canal, a couple of bridges & a large fountain - really nice)
* Parque Luisa Maria (a park with a maze of roads, trees & gardens - it was ok, shade on another pretty warm day!)

We decided not to do the Alcazar, Palace & Gardens since we saw La Alhambra in Granada.

Next stop ... the Spanish coast! Yay, the beach!!!!
