We headed in to town this morning & got some info on a 45km trail that Ian could do today.  After packing up we headed to Colac (took us about an hour), then we got his bike all ready to go.  Ian set off on the Beechy Rail Trail about 12pm ... it should take him about 5 hours.  My job was to come & catch up on all these diary entries, fill the car with fuel & then drive back down to Beechy Forest to pick him up when he's finished.  When I find him all tired & dirty, we'll head off back vis Apollo Bay towards Lorne & then propbaly stop for the night.  Now that I'm finished here, that's one job done!
