From Eldoret the bus to Nakuru and after 2 hours waiting the bus to Nanayuki. Again we couchsurfed there at a cousin of Irene who is on couchsurf but couldn't host me. Rina and her friend Josephine stayed there and were very hospitable to us. She even gave us the key since she was working during the day. Our plan in Nanyuki was to arrange everything for the highlight of this holiday, climbing Mount Kenya. We met up with the guide Nicolas and arranged the needed equipment to climb this snow capped giant. In the evening we went for dinner with a whole bunch of Kenyan girls who became our friends: Irene, Rina, Josephine and Angela. We had fun and promised that after climbing the mountain we would introduce them to our cards drinking game 'Kingsen’.

This is what happened and at Angela’s place we were blessed by some good dinner and repaid the service with the drinking game. It quickly became evident that most of the girls are not used to drink much and were also not very good in playing the game. This resulted in a lot of laughing and unfortunately for Angela also some stomach problems which made her spend the rest of the evening on the toilet and in bed…ooopss! We felt a bit guilty afterwards…

With the other girls we went for some dancing but not too much because it was a Wednesday night and the place was not too crowded. At the end of the evening we said goodbye and got invitations of coming back but we will see how that will go.
