- For taking the bus to the Botswana border (Kazungulu) go to the Lusaka inter-city bus station which is close to the train station and buy a ticket for 100.000 Kwacha. Don't take the bus to Livingstone because then you have to catch another one there which cost you way more!
Looked for a backpackers and ended up at Kalulu Backpackers which wasn't open yet but I could camp for free! Together with Zoe, a New Zealand girl, we bought some meat and potatoes for the braai (BBQ) we had that night with ll As the lonely planet writes “every road in this part of the world leads to Lusaka” so also my next destination was the capital of Zambia.the workers there. Didn't do much in the 3 days I stayed here but it was more about making plans. Skyped with brother, sister, father and Erik about future travel plans. For the rest met a lot of interesting people who were working in the mining business and will meet with them again if I return to Lusaka. The plan is the following: I will be going to Joburg and meet up with Erik there and then move back to Livingstone, Zambia to check out the Victoria Falls. But ofcoure some guys from the hostel were taking me out because I couldn't leave Lusaka without seeing some of the nightlife!
