Underwater tunnel links Alesund to airport island

Morning SAS flight Alesund to Trondheim

Another Radisson SAS Hotel well located on the main canal

Walking tour of Trondheim - firstly the shopping mall where we had our photos downloaded onto disc (delicious ice-cream while we waited) then through the picturesque streets to the Royal Palace - largest wooden building in Scandi? Could not get on English tour so kept walking on to church & Cathedral. Back to Palace for later tour, well worth while, then coffee on the square & caught a cab to fort overlooking city.

Leisurely walk back down the hill to very charmimg old town & bridge - even saw the world's only bicycle lift in action. Pre-dinner drink in a nice old pub on the canal, then delicious dinner nearby
