My first trip on budget carrier Australian Airlines Sydney to Kota Kinabalu - OK

4 nts at the Shangri-La Tangung Aru then we moved to the Nexus Resort for 3 nts
Sabah is a state of Malaysia located in northern Borneo - the third largest island in the world!

Wed 28JUL Relaxed at the resort

Thu 29JUL Morning sightseeing & shopping in town - market shopping, inspected Hyatt Regency. KK originally called Jesselton

Fri 30JUL Five Island snorkelling day trip - Tunku Abdul Rahman Park located just offshore from resort, Great day - visited Gaya Island, Manukan Island, Sapi (lunch on the beach), Sulag & Mamutik Mamutik Island

Sat 31JUL Transfer to Nexus Resort (30 mins from town)

Sun 01AUG Booked local day tour but car did not turn up - broke down apparently, so instead took a cab to visit to Rasa Ria Resort - Orang-utan sanctuary

Mon 02AUG Last day relaxing at resort

Tue 03AUG Overnight flight home
