Thought we would be awake in the middle of the night after going to bed relatively early but alarm & bright sunshine woke us at 08:30 so we've really caught up on the sleep & feel great.

Nice complimentary breakfast downstairs in the lobby

Decided to join the hop-on hop-off bus starting from the Beverly Center on the next block & that was good value - great overview of the area Beverly Hills - Hollywood. Got off in Hollywood intending to change to the downtown loop but found they run infrequently & we would be short of time to actually be able to hop off & see  anything, so decided to stay around the Hollywood area. Took an open-top tour of the Stars Homes - have done it before but very pleasant & some new additions. Also took a tour of the Kodak Theatre so now up on all the celebs.

Back to the hotel via Rodeo Drive (again) & then jumped in a cab to get to our early dinner booking at Osteria Mozza, owned by Iron Chef Mario Batali - really enjoyed a great dinner there.

Back to the hotel to watch the USC vs UCLA football game on TV - had debated whether to buy tickets & go but glad we chose nice dinner instead!
