Amazing (and sometimes scary) drive!  We were supposed to take a boat ride this morning out to Skellig Michael, the big rock off the coast of the Ring of Kerry where the ruins of an old monastery are.  But the captain said conditions were not safe, so we drove around the area (the Skellig Ring) through small towns and over passes.  We even found a chocolate factory.  Beautiful!  Then we continued on to our next stop, Waterford.  On the way, we stopped at Youghal (pronounced Y'all) for a pint of Beamish Irish Stout.  Seemed like the "Southern" Irish thing to do!
