We started our trip into the city by meeting a friend of ours, Illan, who is a former classmate of Shelby's from Cambridge. He now teaches Hebrew at Columbia University. Had coffee and great conversation then we said our goodbyes and made our way to a real Italian restaurant in the theater district, Scarlatto's. It was cool listening to the staff speaking Italian to each other. Steve, the bartender at our hotel recommended the place and we're glad he did. Delish!

We still had an hour to kill after dinner so we hung out at Times Square and people-watched. Loads of fun!

Then on to our Broadway show, The Book of Mormon. It was as good advertised! The Eugene O'Neill Theater is small and beautiful, not a bad seat in the house. If you have a chance, this show is a "must see". Our favorite songs were Man Up, Turn it Off, Orlando, and You and Me (But Mostly Me). The actors were great and the laughs were unending.

We had a great company retreat but now it's time to head home. See you all soon!

Outstanding, Mike! I'm finding it hard to imagine where the "business" aspect of the trip had a chance to see the light of day. "The Book of Mormon" is excellent. I heard an hour-long program about it on NPR a few weeks ago, including the songs. Very funny.
When do you hit Blythewood again? Thursday was strange at the C&B without the Swisses.
