Day 11 and 12.....ferry to Martha's Vineyard

We caught the car ferry to Martha's Vineyard for an overnight stay.
We arrived in the am and drove to Menemsha, a fishing village that is part of Chilmark.
We sat by the beach and watched some people fishing from the rock pier.
We had our first lobster picnic on the fishing pier next to the fish market that cooked our lunch.
We shared a stuffed crab, cole slaw, clam chowder and a 1-1/2 lb lobster that we picked from the tank ourselves.
All this was only $14.95.....unbelievably delicious!!!!
We ate dinner in town near our hotel in Edgartown. It was a lovely setting overlooking Chappaquidick, but the seafood was not nearly as good as the lobster for lunch.
