Caught the bus to Vosu - a small town inside the LaHeema National Park on the north coast, east of Tallinn. I was somewhat concerned as the bus was a looking older than me and was fully expecting the Partridge Family to climb onboard at any moment!! No AC and a distinct them of mustard yellow (curtains and seats) in contrast to the thick grey corduroy carpet...
Laheema N.P is massive and the area I visited probably doesnt even touch the surface of what it contains (14 lakes, 8 rivers and over 450sq km in size). I spent a couple of hours walking through dense pine forest, stumbling across the occasional (yet, extravagant) log (or weatherboard) cabins, little oasis´ set far enough away from each other to feel secluded.
Vosu is also set on the coast - so most of the walk was within reach of the beach - it was warm enough to swim and surprisingly (given how far north it is) - the water was also quite warm.

I imagine this to be an extremely serene place for an extended visit during the summer months... but a little One flew over the cockoos nest come winter...
