I continued up the road to Halmstad

And when I got there it doesn't appear to be nearly as impoverished as it was in JB's day

I then went on to Falkenberg where I eventually found the Gastvereri, looking pretty much as it had 130 years ago ...

I decided to stop the night at VARBERG, where JB had also stopped for the night. The Hotel is allegedly situated on the site of the old Guest-House..
