Was up at 8.30am and had breakfast around the corner at the local bakery, and an awesome way to start the day. Then we are off lower Manhattan to finish some shopping and site seeing, which we did more shopping, I got two lots of shoes and some T-shirts. We walked to the United Nations building to see all the flags and the huge gun that Kiwi enjoyed the most. Also went to Bloomingdales so Iain could get a Little Brown Bag for his mum in England, but pretty much most of the day was done shopping. I got a call from Dad at 3.00pm cause he had heard about a plane flying into a building on the 72nd St, which happened but we wouldn't of known cause the city is so huge. The Pilot was a Pitcher for the NY Yankees and he died at the seen. We continue on shopping, then at 5.00pm it rained like nothing I've ever seen before and the rain like that for rest of the night got a good picture with the Empire State Building in the rain. After a hard day of shopping we headed back to Hostel and went to a small bar to watch the Baseball Conference Finals and a couple of drinks, then back to the Hostel to go to bed.
