After a good long sleep I was up at 9.00am and had breakfast which was pancakes, bacon and eggs, then Clarie, Gareth and I jumped in the car at 11.00am and drove to Athens, Georgia about 45 minutes from Atlanta. Athens is the home of the University of Georgia and mostly a student town. We arrived at 12.00 noon and walked to the Starbucks Gareth and Claire got to and had a nice hot drink then looked around the University Campus and local shops where Gareth & I bought a Georgia T-shirt each and Claire bought a hat. After that we walk to the Grid Restaurant owned by one of the bands member from REM which also had a protest going outside and across from his restaurant, protesting against abortions which you can see Kiwi got into action. After an amazing lunch we walked back to look around some more shops and would this cool car with toy cars all over it. Then back for another drink at Starbucks Coffee Shop before heading back to Atlanta, which we got back at 6.00pm and had a quiet night and was in bed by midnight.
