Got up at 7.30am and got ready and went down to see the owner and he had cooked a lovely fresh corn bread for breakfast which i had banana and honey with, then Graeme and I got on the road at 9.00am cause it was another big driving day, I was looking at over 500 miles. Firstly we drove from Lake Placid to Whiteface Mountain which when we got to the top of the 3600 feet summit, couldn't actually see anything but it was a good drive, then we drove to Port Burlington. But to get there we had to put the car on the boat, which took 30 minutes to cross the Lake Champlain. Then continued the long drive through Vermont and New Hampshire and through the White Mountain National Forest, but all this driving was catching up to me and I was very tired I had driven over 1200 miles(2000 km) in 4 days. So I asked if Graeme was happy to drive for an hour and as soon as here started driving I was asleep I must of sleep for 15-20 minutes before he woke me up and asked if I like to look at the falls in the National Park(which he had just driven pasted) I was for anything so he turned around and we went and saw the Falls. It was a 15 minute walk over some crazy trail but all worth it when we got there, stayed there for 20 minutes and walk but to the car and I drove the rest of the 3 hours to Portland. Arrived at Portand, Maine at 7.00pm and had travelled through four states in one day. But we were now on the East coast of America and we drove past this nice little Motel so we decided to stay there for the night and for only $82 to share a room it wasn't that bad. We went out for dinner at a restaurant called Friendly's amazing meal and so cheap, so we both decided to get dessert for later then return to the Motel and watch a little TV and was asleep by 9.00pm
