After a very long two days of fun and excitement, it was time to head back to Camp Green Lane and reality, I woke everyone up with a 8.00am wake-up call and I paid the Hotel which was $989.00 for the total of 4 rooms and 2 nights each room, which worked out to be $43 each person for both nights, pretty good I thought for a 5 Star Hotel. So I paid the bill and checkout of the Hotel Tropicana, and meet everyone in the lobby where we trained back on the 10.48am train to Philadelphia get into Philly at 12.00 noon, where we got some food (being Dunken Donuts) for our kids. Jumped on the 12.45 train to Lansdale and was picked up and dropped back at camp by 4.00pm.
We had an hour before we had to be back working so most of us relaxed in the pool or played touch rugby. Then it was back to the reality of camp and all it had to offer, for most of us we still wanted to be back in Atlantic City, we all went to dinner and then got ready for our evening activity.... which was roller-skating the young kids went earlier that the old kids and we had a blast, it was a nice way to get back into camp, I had a really good time and it was good to see my kids again. For us Counsellors we had a better time skating than the kids, all the young kids we back on the bus by 9.00pm and back at camp by 9.30pm. Then I got all my kids ready for bed and I sleep for an hour on my bed as I was so tired after the last two days and then went and checked my e-mail before returning to bed.
