Rain, rain go away, come again some other day (after the 18th). Drove to Punakaiki in the rain. Still pretty, waterfalls all along the roads!!!! Along with several Penguin Crossing signs - didn't get to see any crossing though :-( How cool would that have been!! We have a beautiful view directly of the sea and can hear the waves crashing. Went to see the Pancake Rocks and the blow holes (even impressive in the rain) and got to see dolphins swimming and jumping along in the water. Also saw surfers out catching some of the waves -thought of you guys in Cali....
Before dinner we headed down by the water front and I combed the beach for pieces of jade and mom walked down beach until she disappeared from sight...
