Well, today we woke up fresh and spent the day at the Auckland Museum and Conservatory. Learned more about the Maori and saw traditional dances and games.
We have almost mastered the public transport system here. They have 4 different bus lines/companies that all run sort of on the same track and share some of the same bus stops, but not all -- I have asked the bus drivers three times for assistance and was lead astray twice!!! Once we ended up dropped of in the middle of no where. I don't need extra help in getting lost, as you all know I am quite good at getting myself lost on my own! There are free buses, buses that cost 1.50 for each time you get on no matter how long you are on, one that charges for each "stage" (stop), and one that goes to the airport but still does the loop through the city!!! Anyway now that we are leaving soon we seemed to have mastered it...
Another discovery - the cost of food. Wow, super expensive. Even checked into Sub-way to try and eat a little cheaper and it was still $7 for a 6in.
Despite all that it was a beautiful day today, sunny and about 65/66 in the sun and 62 in the shade -perfect for hiking up the hills and countryside.

Hi All!!!!
Sounds like you guys are having a great time!!! I am looking forward to many pictures!
Just a note about PIFFH. I talked with Rico and the only date he had available was the 20th of January. So I took it! We will have to be at Fat's by 8pm on Saturday night then. Guess we get up and caravan in after the Blackhawks game the night before! Busy, but fun weekend!
This blog thing is kinds neat! Keep me posted! I want pictures from the cliff dive. The buses sound like what Roger and I encountered in San Fransico! We got dumped off on the outskirts trying to find the Golden Gate Bridge and had to walk forever to get back-our first battle as a married couple-directions!!!
