The speedboat came and picked us up off the dive boat around 2:30pm. Then it was an hour cruise back to the dive shop by the dock, and from there over an hour to my hotel. Luckily they had a room for me because I didn't reserve one before I left, since I was not sure what I was doing. My hotel is also a travel agent, like pretty much every other company in Thailand, so I booked a flight back to Bangkok for tomorrow night to catch my flight home which I am NOT looking forward to. Though I am finally starting to get a tiny bit homesick. I think the problem is after Cindy, Robert, SH and I all separated and I was on my own again it just wasn't as exciting. I miss my Calgary family; they made this trip for me. But the diving was awesome and kicked my homesickness in the butt. I have had a blast on this trip.

Tonight I met up with Kelly and Scott at their swank hotel for dinner. Scott bought us dinner because he is hot like that. They were having a BBQ buffet so I ordered some meat and then went back to get it awhile later. They served about 4 other people that hadn't even ordered yet before I finally got my food. I think there was some kind of mix up. When I did finally get my food, Scott and Kelly were almost done their dinner. But we all caught up at dessert time. The dessert buffet was massive and Kelly has quite a sweet tooth. Actually I think she just eats a lot of just about any kind of food. But chocolate is definitely her food of choice.

After dinner I went back to my hotel lobby where I told Ian I'd meet him. He contacted me on facebook when he saw I was in Thailand and told me he'd be there too. We've been talking back and forth for a couple of weeks now and are finally in the same place at the same time so we arranged to meet up. I finally gave up waiting for him though after about an hour, and walked down to the pay phone. I guess he had gotten lost trying to find my hotel because he walked right past me, backtracked, and was like "wow, good timing!" And they say there's no such thing as coincidence.

I showed him where my hotel was and that was about it because he was tired from traveling. He had already booked a hotel for the night so he went back there after we made arrangements to meet up tomorrow morning.
