We are still in Koh Tao. It's been a couple of days since I've had Internet access and we've been pretty busy. Robert still hasn't finished his open water certification yet.

Yesterday morning I went with SH into Mae Head for breakfast but I was feeling hungover so all I could manage was toast. He was in worse shape than me though and settled for a coffee. We stopped in the 7/11 and loaded up on electrolytes to kick the hangovers.

In the afternoon, the three of us went on two fun dives with our instructor to a new spot, Red Rock, and then Twins once again. Then we went out for a fish BBQ dinner on the beach with SH and his friend. Robert and Cindy ordered pretty much every kind of seafood. Each fish came out as a meal though, with vegetables and side dishes, so they had a hell of a lot of food to eat My scooter

. Cindy and I had these drink buckets that have way too much alcohol in them. I think they were called Rummy Cups. We didn't realize how hard they were until after we had a few pina coladas at the bar later and I ended up doing some shots too. Today I felt quite awful so I decided diving would not be fun. Robert didn't dive either because SH was teaching an advanced class today and couldn't take him, and he didn't want to change instructors now. So hopefully he gets his certification tomorrow.

This afternoon we rented scooters and drove down to another part of the island, called Shark Bay, that SH claimed has good snorkeling. We had to swim out to a buoy from the beach and the waves were pretty rough so it was slow going. The water was extremely shallow going out there but there was a lot of rock and coral on the ground so it was much easier to swim than to wade. When I got near the buoy I saw some reef sharks, which was pretty cool, but they were quite small for reef sharks. And the visibility was horrible so that was too bad.

After that we just chillaxed on the beautiful beach over there at Shark Bay, then came back to Sairee Beach for some food and drink. We didn't stay out late though as we were all pretty tired.
