Yesterday Ally and I left our Aussie family in Brisbane and flew into Sydney. We saw that Lion King was playing in the theatre so we tried to get tickets and as luck would have it got some for last night! So we went to the this beautiful theatre in Sydney and watched a performance of the Lion King. It was spectacular. The costumes were really cool and the performers were outstanding. It was a really great idea!

Today we did some sightseeing. We of course checked out the opera house and the famous bridge, then went up to a lookout tour so we could see Sydney from above.

We walked around the city and checked out lots of stores as well. Sydney is a really pretty city and has a lot going on. It would be nice if we could stay here longer but, unfortunately, tomorrow I fly back to Calgary and Ally to Vancouver. We have a flight together to LA and then we go our separate ways.

It's been a blast!
