Today was another day of driving. In the morning we got our bags back in the trunk and drove through Townsville way, way up a winding road to the top of a very high hill. Up here is a scenic lookout called Castle Hill Lookout where you can see Townsville and the water below. Other than that we didn't really stop much except for bathroom and food breaks.

We finally go to Airlie Beach which is gorgeous, again! We found a room in a beautiful house overlooking the beach. It was expensive but it has three king-sized single beds so there will be no bed sharing tonight! We went down to the shops and checked those out. Tomorrow we are going to see the Whitsundays!
